With the improvement of safety production concept and technology level,the essential safety requirements of mechanical products are getting higher and higher,safety reliability and maintenance support have gradually become an important part of the design and manufacturing quality of mechanical products.Different from the standardization,modularization and serialization of general equipment,the originality and complexity of non-standard equipment in the design and application process lead to the prediction of safety risks and the elimination of hidden dangers to become the difficult problems that equipment development enterprises and users must face.On the basis of introducing the process realization method of railway freight car products,this paper briefly describes the application status of non-standard equipment used in railway freight car manufacturing,analyzes its typical safety risks and hidden problems,and summarizes the application experience of safety management norms and technical measures in the process of design,manufacturing,operation and maintenance of non-standard equipment.The essential safety control strategy of non-standard equipment is proposed from the aspects of product safety design,product safety evaluation,equipment manufacturing acceptance,equipment operation and maintenance control.
