Analysis of pulmonary rehabilitation cognition and its influencing factors among healthcare professionals in community health service centers in Jiangsu Province
Objective:To explore the pulmonary rehabilitation cognition and influencing factors among healthcare professionals in rehabilitation departments of community health service centers in Jiangsu Province,and to provide targeted strategies for the implementation of pulmonary rehabilitation.Methods:A total of 315 healthcare professionals from rehabilitation departments of community health service centers in Jiangsu Province were randomly surveyed using stratified random sampling method according to Su-Nan,Su-Zhong,and Su-Bei regions.The pulmonary rehabilitation cognition scores of healthcare professionals were analyzed,and multiple linear regression analysis was used to understand the influencing factors of pulmonary rehabilitation cognition.Results:A total of 290 valid questionnaires were collected.There were 76 males(25.52%)and 214 females(74.48%);83(28.62%)with specialized education and 207(71.38%)with bachelor's degree or above;92(31.72%)doctors,98(33.80%)nurses,and 100(34.48%)therapists;109(37.59%)from Su-Nan,80(27.58%)from Su-Zhong,and 101(34.83%)from Su-Bei.The results of univariate analysis showed that healthcare professionals with bachelor's degree,working experience of more than 10 years,senior title,from Su-Nan region,with pulmonary rehabilitation training experience,and engaged in pulmonary rehabilitation treatment scored higher and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);Multiple linear regression analysis showed that different regions,participation in pulmonary rehabilitation-related training,and experience in pulmonary rehabilitation treatment had an impact on the pulmonary rehabilitation cognition of healthcare professionals in the rehabilitation departments of community health service centers(P<0.05).Conclusions:There are regional differences in pulmonary rehabilitation cognition scores among healthcare professionals in community health service centers in Jiangsu Province.Stratified strengthening of pulmonary rehabilitation knowledge training should be conducted according to different regions,actively implementing pulmonary rehabilitation,and improving the cognition of pulmonary rehabilitation and the level of community pulmonary rehabilitation services.
