Objective:To describe the monitoring results of suspected adverse event following immunization(AEFI)in Jiangyan District,Taizhou City from 2015 to 2022,and to evaluate vaccine safety and monitoring sensitivity. Methods:The AEFI data were organized and the descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the distribution characteristics and related indicators of AEFI.The statistical method of χ2 test was used to compare the annual reported incidence rates and reported incidence rates of various vaccines.Resulsts:From 2015 to 2022,a total of 981 cases of AEFI were reported in Jiangyan District,Taizhou City, with an incidence rate of 33.06/100 000,including 888 cases of general reactions,89 cases of abnormal reactions, and 4 cases of coincidence. In addition to the COVID-19 vaccine,it was mainly concentrated in June and July, with the lowest level in January and February; The male-to-female ratio was 1.44∶1,and there were 367 cases under 1 year old, accounting for 45.20%,and 88.05%of AEFI occured within 1 day of vaccination. The clinical diagnosis was mainly based on general symptoms such as fever, redness, swelling, and induration. In immunization planning vaccines, the vaccines with higher incidence of general reactions were diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis combined vaccine(DTaP),and diphtheria and tetanus combined vaccine(DT),while the vaccines with higher incidence of abnormal reactions were measles and rubella combined vaccine(MR)and measles mumps and rubella combined vaccine(MMR).Conclusion:The sensitivity of AEFI monitoring in Jiangyan District of Taizhou City is still acceptable, and the vaccine safety is good, but further efforts are needed to strengthen AEFI monitoring.
