Study on residual stress relief of 316L stainless steel welded joint by vibration aging and thermal aging
This article conducts experimental research on the effect of different stress relief methods and their combinations on residual stress in 316L stainless steel welded joints. The results show that both simple stress relief heat treatment and mechanical vibration aging treatment can effectively remove the peak stress of the weld seam and weld toe, with a significant decrease in peak stress;Compared with simple vibration aging treatment, the decrease in stress peak value is not significant when using vibration aging+stress relief heat treatment.Compared with annealing before vibration aging, the stress peak value at the weld seam slightly decreases; The use of stress relief heat treat-ment+vibration aging method significantly reduces the stress peak value compared to simple stress relief heat treat-ment,providing guidance for future production research.
