The influence of different heat treatment methods on the mechanical properties of Ti52 alloy drill pipe weld were studied. The results showed that after annealing at 900℃for 10 minutes, the tensile strength of the weld decreased, the yield strength increased, the elongation decreased, the section shrinkage increased, and the hardness increased greatly, however, the impact energy at room temperature was only 67.4%of the base metal, and the impact energy at-40℃was only 67.7%of the impact energy at room temperature; After solid strengthening and water cool-ing at 900℃for 10 minutes, then aging and air cooling at 680℃for 10 minutes, the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation were all decreased slightly, the section shrinkage increased, the hardness decreased slightly, and the impact energy of the weld at room temperature reached 84.8%of the base metal, the impact energy at-40℃was 84.6%of that at room temperature, which showed good usability performance under extremely bad conditions.
