DESIGN OF MEDIUM VOLTAGE(SERIES)LONGITUDINAL COMPENSATION POWER FACTOR REDUCTION TRANSFORMATION FOR 31.5 MVA FERROMANGANESE-SILICON SUBMERGED ARC FURNACE
The article introduces the particularity of the medium voltage series compensation(longitudinal compensa-tion)device for the submerged arc furnace,and its engineering design practice of power factor reduction transformation of longitudinal compensation in the production process of 31.5 MVA ferromanganese-silicon submerged arc furnace due to the need for stable furnace conditions through process control.The expected results have been achieved,and it has universal reference significance and value for similar longitudinal compensation application enterprises in the same in-dustry.
