EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON IMPROVING THE SINTERING OUTPUT AND WASTE HEAT UTILIZATION OF MANGANESE ORE
Manganese ore sintering has the characteristics of high fuel consumption, large burning loss, and loose product structure, and with lower utilization coefficient in practice in general. In order to increase the sintering output of manganese ore,a domestic ferroalloy factory adopted measures such as controlling the particle size of raw materials, which improved the utilization coefficient from 0.95 t/(m·2 h)to about 1.05 t/(m·2 h),achieving good results. At the same time, the use of sintering waste heat for drying manganese ore enables its fully utilization, which can process about 50 tons of manganese ore per hour, effectively reducing energy consumption and creating economic and social benefits for the factory.
