EXPLORATION OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE SANDING DISPERSION PROCESS
A series of orthogonal experiments were conducted on the dispersion of semi-finished titanium dioxide slurry produced by the chloride method using a small-scale sand mill in the laboratory.Especially, the effects of different san-ding process conditions, such as grinding medium filling rate, titanium dioxide feed rate, different rotational speeds, and grinding time,on the particle size, slurry viscosity, and dispersion stability of titanium dioxide slurry were investi-gated,and the optimal process plan was ultimately determined. In actual production processes,it is possible to improve the dispersion stability of the slurry, providing excellent semi-finished titanium dioxide slurry for the next process;explo-ring new feasible process approaches and technological reserves in the relevant sanding process conditions.
