APPLICATION OF SVG+FC DYNAMIC REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION DEVICE IN HOT ROLLING PRODUCTION LINE
This article takes the hot rolling line of a steel mill as the research object,measures and analyzes the power quality of 35 kV bus in the plant area,and puts forward a technical scheme of installing a dynamic reactive power com-pensation device(SVG+FC)in the 35 kV bus area.According to the running characteristics of the hot rolling line,the reactive power capacity that the system needs to compensate when the main equipment is running is calculated.The system is simulated by using simulation software PSAF,and the results show that the dynamic reactive power compen-sation device can effectively control the power quality problems caused by hot rolling production line,and the compen-sation performance is good.
