RESEARCH PROGRESS ON EXTRACTION OF VALUABLE METALS FROM COPPER SMELTING SLAG
Copper smelting slag is one of the important waste residues generated in the metallurgical process,and its valuable metals have certain economic value and market demand.This article starts with the classification of copper smelting slag and the occurrence status of valuable metals,and conducts an in-depth analysis of copper and iron re-sources and market status.The focus is on the current situation of copper,iron,and other valuable metal recovery in copper smelting slag,exploring the classification,recovery,and application of valuable metals(such as copper and iron)in copper slag,as well as the application of environmental protection technology in copper slag treatment.Fur-thermore,the market dynamics and market prospects of cobalt resources are analyzed.Based on the current research status at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the research progress and shortcomings of extracting valuable metals from copper smelting slag,providing strong support for achieving efficient recovery and comprehensive utilization of valuable metals in copper smelting slag.
