The historical nihilism is a political trend of thought that originates from the nihilism and aims to deny the leadership of the Communist Party of China,destroy the cultural self-confidence of historical progress,deny the contribution of historical figures,obscure the true picture of history,void the meaning of historical events,and cut off the continuation of the historical process.In the centennial struggle course,the Communist Party of China has directly attacked the theoretical foundation of the historical nihilism with the historical materialism,correctly evaluated historical figures with scientific thinking methods,re-sponded to the doubts of historical choices with great historical achievements,and strengthened cultural self-confidence,historical self-confidence and road self-confidence.
