Study on Metaphor Idea of Paul Ricoeur Based on the Introspection of Philosophy of Language of Frege
Paul Ricoeur is a famous French philosopher and one of the most important contemporary hermeneutics.He initiated the hermeneutics of metaphor.In his book,Living Metaphor,he elaborated his concept of metaphor in detail.Frege is a German mathematician,logician and philosopher,the founder of mathematical logic and analytical philosophy,and the founder of philosophy of language.Philosophical thought of Frege has influenced many philosophers,such as Dummett,Russell,Wittgenstein and so on.Although philosophical research focus of Paul Ricoeur is different from that of Frege,the thought of philosophy of language of Frege can still be found in Ricoeur's view of metaphor and even his study of philosophy of language.
