1895年至1945年,日本殖民统治台湾期间,为实现其"总督专制独裁制",在台湾建立"警察王国",实施"殖民警察政治".为强化对台湾汉人社会的控制,殖民者复活保甲制度并将其植入警察网络,造就了殖民地统治史上独一无二的"警保体制"."警保体制"向上支撑总督专制独裁制,向下严密监控民众,是殖民统治的支柱,台湾社会因此被完全、残酷地殖民地化.
Abstract
During the Japanese colonial rule of Taiwan from 1895 to 1945,Japan established a"police kingdom"and implemented"colonial police politics"to achieve its"governor-general autocratic dictatorship".The colonists revived the"Bao-Jia system".They then integrated it into the police network to strengthen control over Han Chinese society in the Taiwan region,establishing a unique"security system"in the colonial history.The"police security system"supported the governor's autocratic dictatorship upward and closely monitored the people downward,which was the pillar of the colonial rule,and Taiwan society was therefore completely and cruelly colonized.
