Fault Incidence Matrix Reliability Evaluation Method of Flexible Distribution Networks with Soft Open Point Considering Voltage Support
The flexibilization of distribution networks has become an important developmental trend. As a flexible interconnection device replacing traditional contact switches, the soft open point's high response speed and voltage support help improve the reliability of the power supply. However, most of the existing reliability calculation meth-ods for distribution networks ignore the impact of post-fault node voltage. Thus, these methods cannot be applied to the reliability calculation of flexible distribution networks containing soft open point. In this paper,a reliability calcu-lation method is proposed for a flexible distribution network considering voltage support based on the fault incidence matrix. This method realizes the fast analytical calculation of reliability indices for flexible distribution networks.First,a power supply path matrix is constructed to characterize the scope of fault influence and assess the ability of the power supply to recover after failure. Then, the post-fault branch transmission power vector and node voltage matrix are formed, and the fault incidence matrix is obtained to yield reliability indices. Finally,a case study is car-ried out based on a typical example of a medium-voltage distribution network. The results show that the proposed reli-ability calculation method yields identical reliability indices as the enumeration method, guaranteeing accuracy. Moreover, the proposed method replaces the repetitive network searching process in the fault enumeration process with matrix algebra operation, and the search time is reduced by 87%,which can significantly improve the calcula-tion efficiency.
