摘要
介词是英语语言的重要组成部分，而隐喻对学习者学习英语介词具有非常重要的作用。为明确英语介词的隐喻意义，文章首先对英语介词的空间愿意进行释义，其次，对英语介词的隐喻意义认知进行详细的分析，最后围绕隐喻介词的修辞效果进行了详细的分析，希望可以使英语学习者明确隐喻能力的重要性，并加强英语学习中隐喻能力的培养。
Abstract
The preposition is an important part of English language , and the metaphor plays a critical role in learning English prepositions . To clear the metaphorical meanings of English preposi‐tions ,firstly ,this paper defines the original spatial meaning of English prepositions .Then it gives a de‐tailed analysis on the cognition of metaphorical meanings of English prepositions .Finally ,it analyzes the metaphorical rhetorical effect of prepositions .The author hopes that this paper can help English learners understand the importance of metaphorical competence and strength the development of metaphorical competence in English learning .
