Research on Problems and Countermeasures of Vocational Education Cooperation between China and Uganda
Vocational education cooperation between China and Uganda is oriented to Uganda's socio-economic needs, and focuses on short-term training and exchange programs, international cooperation in school running,Luban Workshop programs, recruiting international students from Uganda, and founding alliance organizations, which have made a lot of achievements. However, there are still some problems in China-Uganda vocational education cooperation, such as narrow scope of cooperation, weak adaptability of Chinese vocational education in Uganda and single mode of cooperation programs.China can support the development of vocational education in Uganda from the following aspects:improve the operation and evaluation standards of Luban Workshop, and carry out capacity building in various forms;establish a dynamic adjustment mechanism to integrate into Uganda's vocational education system;build a Sino-East African vocational education research platform;enrich the forms of cultural exchanges and cooperation, and provide intellectual support for Uganda's development and the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
