Study on Hydrothermal Synthesis and Photocatalytic Properties of TiO2 Nanowire Thin Films
TiO2 nanowire films were prepared by hydrothermal method:titanium foil was used as the titanium source and substrate and NaOH as a morphology control agent. The effects of the dosage of morphology control agent on the crystal structure, surface morphology, and photocatalytic performance of the TiO2 nanowire films were studied by regulating the concentration of NaOH solution, and the growth mechanism of TiO2 nanowire films was elaborated.SEM,XRD characterization and photocatalytic degradation results showed that the surface morphology and photocatalytic properties of TiO2 nanowire films changed with the increase of NaOH solution concentration. When the concentration of NaOH solution reached 1 M,the surface of the fabricated anatase TiO2 films had one-dimensional nanowire morphology.Photocatalytic degradation rate of methyl orange solution reached 90%after being exposed under UV light for 10 h.
