Spatio-temporal Dynamic Characteristics of Forest Fire Points in South-and-North China from 2014 to 2021
Based on the forest fire point data from 2014 to 2021 in Heilongjiang Province and Guangdong Province, this ar-ticle analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution patterns and characteristics of forest fire points in northern and southern China by using spatial statistical methods such as global spatial auto-correlation analysis, point density analysis, and stan-dard deviational ellipse. And then this article analyzed the altitude of forest fire points with a high number of occurrences. The results showed that:The inter-annual variation of forest fire points in the two provinces showed a decreasing trend, and the forest fire points had obvious seasonal characteristics.Corresponding to the seasonal characteristics, the monthly varia-tion of forest fires showed a bimodal distribution. The distribution of forest fire points in the two provinces had high spatial heterogeneity. The forest fire points in Heilongjiang Province were mainly concentrated in the central region, while in Guangdong Province they were mostly distributed in the northwest and southwest regions, which were consistent with the high-density distribution. The distribution of forest fire points in the two provinces had significant spatial agglomeration, and the degree of agglomeration was high. The degree of agglomeration in Heilongjiang Province decreased, and the dependence on spatial distribution weakened. However, the degree of spatial agglomeration in Guangdong Province increased, and the dependence of forest fire points on spatial distribution increased. The distribution direction of forest fire points in Hei-longjiang Province was northwest-southeast,and the center of gravity of forest fire points generally shifted to the northwest. The direction of Guangdong Province was northeast-southwest,and the center of gravity of forest fires generally moved to the southwest. The distribution range of forest fire points in both provinces had a downward trend.
