A Review of Research on the Human Capital of the Elderly in China from the Perspective of Active Aging:An Analysis Based on Co-occurrence Knowledge Mapping
The human capital of the elderly in China is of great significance for the development of the silver economy and the implementation of the active aging strategy.Using Co-occurrence(Cooc)software to conduct a visual analysis of 628 high-quality publications from 1986 to 2023,it is found that research on elderly human capital is gradually transitioning from the initial phase of quantitative growth to a phase of qualitative improvement, showing an overall wavelike upward trend. However, collaboration among authors and institutions still remains relatively low.The research has mainly evolved from the nascent stage, through an exploratory stage,to a stage of continuous development. The main research hotspots focus on four areas:the composition of elderly human capital, social development, the development of elderly human capital, and reemployment of the elderly. Finally, suggestions are made regarding research subjects, content, and directions to address the needs of the times, aiming to provide intellectual support for resolving issues related to elderly human capital in China.
