The Unique View on Civilization of the Chinese Path to Modernization:Its Philosophical Foundations and Global Historical Significance
Chinese path to modernization,developed in response to the historic practice of contemporary China,its specific historical and cultural traditions and the concrete requirements of Marxism,has formed a unique view on modern civilization with global historical significance,while comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As a product of the existential transformation of the modern metaphysics of subjectivity,historical materialism reveals the rupture between interior subjectivity and socio-historical reality,overthrows the philosophical and cultural foundations on which Western modernization rests,and thus plans and unfolds the future human civilization that transcends Western modernization.A re-interpretation of historical materialism and Marxism with Chinese characteristics based on historical materialism can deepen the understanding of philosophical implications of the Chinese path to modernization and the global historical significance of its view on civilization.
