Design and optimization of novel three-dimensional coupling mechanism for wireless power transfer
In order to further improve the space freedom of the wireless power transfer(WPT)system,a new semi-spheroid transmitting mechanism is proposed.From the theoretical point of view,the characteristics of three-dimensional(3D)WPT system are analyzed using mutual inductance superposition principle and equivalent circuit model.The simulation model of array 3D power transmission system is established,and the distribution of magnetic field under different control modes is analyzed.The transmission performance of the system was studied from the per-spective of distance characteristics and magnetic field distribution,respectively.A three-dimensional wireless energy transmission experimental system is established to verify the transmission performance of the transmission mechanism.The results show that the new structure can achieve energy transfer with an efficiency of 19.2%up to 400 mm.At the same distance,the maximum efficiency deviation of the load coil receiving power in all direc-tions on the same horizontal plane is only 8%,and it has a high uniformity magnetic field.The experimental re-sults show that the new type of 3D coupling mechanism has good transmission performance such as high spatial freedom and directionless.
