As alginate-fiber is more and more used in daily life,how to identify alginate-fiber has become the most concerned issue for consumers,major detection structures and related research institutes.In this paper,alginate-fiber was identified and tested by microscopy,combustion,infrared spectrum absorption and chemical dissolution.The characteristics of the fiber presented by the above test methods provided a basis for more accurate and convenient identification of alginate-fiber,which has important guiding significance for the promotion and use of alginate-fiber and its in-depth development.
