Classification of Breast Shape of Middle-aged and Elderly Women in Jiangxi
In order to explore the breast shape of middle-aged and elderly women,this paper proposed a breast shape classification method based on proportional relationship to solve the problem of bra fit caused by regional and age differences between groups.The DITUS 3D body scanner was used to collect 18 characteristic parameters of chest circumference,width,length and angle from 176 middle-aged and elderly women aged 36 to 60 in Jiangxi.Principal component analysis and K-means clustering were used to extract three principal component factors that could reflect the chest shape of the samples,namely,circumference factor,volume factor and shape factor.The breast shape was subdivided into 9 categories based on the degree of breast expansion,breast stiffness and breast height.The results show that the characteristics of breast shape clustering are obvious in middle-aged and elderly women in Jiangxi,which provides a reference for the design of bra structure for this age group of women.
