Microcapsule Technology and Its Application in Textile Field
The research progress of microcapsule technology and its application in textile field in recent years are reviewed According to the different preparation principles of microcapsules,the preparation methods of microcap-sules are introduced respectively from three aspects:chemical method,physical method and physical chemical method.For example,chemical methods mainly include interfacial polymerization,in-situ polymerization and lotion polymerization;physical methods mainly include spray drying,air suspension,solvent evaporation,etc.;physical and chemical methods mainly include water phase separation and oil phase separation.The applications of microcap-sules in printing,dyeing,general finishing,functional finishing and intelligent textiles are introduced in detail,and the future development trend of microcapsules technology in textile field is described briefly.
