Application of Southern Fujian New Year Woodblock Painting Artistic Elements in Modern Cheongsam
As a folk treasure,south Fujian New Year woodblock prints have artistic research value,but its practical value has gradually lost.Through literature review,this paper summarizes the artistic features of color,shape,composition and so on of woodblock New Year prints in southern Fujian,and explores the transformation methods and application forms of New Year print elements in fashion design combined with specific cases.On this basis,the paper extracts and simplifies the animal patterns in the southern Fujian woodblock New Year prints,and adopts the design techniques of deconstruction and reconstruction to transform the patterns into a novel decorative language and apply it to modern cheongsam,so as to promote the active application of the elements of southern Fujian woodblock New Year prints in the contemporary era with the advantage of the main force of the national trend,and effectively realize the cross-border integration of the two.The exploration and attempt to apply the artistic characteristics of southern Fujian New Year woodblock prints to modern cheongsam can improve the market value of southern Fujian New Year woodblock prints and provide references for the inheritance and innovation of traditional clothing.
