Research and Development of Modal and Soybean Protein Fiber Knitting Yarn
Soybean protein fiber is a functional fiber.But the defects are so high because the influence of pro-duction process that affectthe wearing performance,especially the coarse fiber and hard fiber.We adopted the dou-ble combing process totreat and comb fiber,then mixed it with Modal fiber,the yarn is improved the defects and ensure the yarn physical index.Through weaving confirmation,the coarse and fine yarn per meter was reduced from 10～15 to less than 2.The final product is Modal soy protein blended knitted yarn.
