The operational performance and existing problem of leachate treatment station in a waste incineration plant
In the future, waste incineration will be the primary treatment technique for domestic waste disposal, and how to deal with the waste incineration leachate has become a hot topic in the industry.Large variations in water quality and quantity, high pollutant concentrations, low pH values, and high volatile fatty acids(VFAs)content were all observed in waste incineration plant leachate. To effectively treat leachate,a process of"anaerobic + membrane bioreactor(MBR)+ nanofiltration(NF)/reverse osmosis(RO)"was used in the leachate treatment station. This study explored how the process works and analyzed variations in landfill leachate yield,COD and NH4+-N removal efficiency, and the removal performance of each process step.Following then, potential issues with the operation procedure were analyzed.
