Degradation of lomefloxacin hydrochloride by NaHSO3 activated with modified red mud
Red mud(RM),as raw materials, generated in the Bayer process of alumina production to make the modified RM(RM-700)by the simple calcination method.RM-700 was used to activate sodium bisulfite(NaHSO3)for degradation lomefloxacin hydrochloride(LOM-HCl).The effect of dosage of RM-700,NaHSO3 concentration, initial solution pH and inorganic ions were considered for degradation LOM-HCl,respectively.The experiments results showed that about 91%of LOM-HCl was degraded at 30 min as the follow conditions:[MRM-700]= 0.9 g/L,[NaHSO3]= 0.5 g/L and initial pH of 5(unadjusted).
