Simultaneous digestion test of arsenic and mercury samples in soil and ex-ploration of storage conditions of digestion solution
In order to improve the efficiency of arsenic and mercury analysis and testing in large quantities of soil samples, the accuracy and precision of the simultaneous water bath digestion of arsenic and mercury soil samples were mainly investigated. At the same time, the effects of constant volume reagents, storage temperature, and storage time on the test results of arsenic and mercury digestion solution were also investigated. After measurement, the test values of two different types of arsenic mercury soil standard samples are all within the quality control range, with a precision of 2.5%~7.4%for six measurements. The arsenic mercury soil standard sample was digested in a water bath and the constant volume reagent was a 10%hydrochloric acid solution. When stored below 5℃ for 5 days, the measured value was still within the quality control range of the soil standard sample. This study shows that the arsenic and mercury soil standard samples are tested separately after synchronous digestion to meet the quality control requirements. The digestion solution can be stored in a medium of 10%hydrochloric acid solution for 5 days below 5℃.When analyzing large quantities of arsenic and mercury soil samples,it helps analysts to arrange time reasonably and complete work tasks as a whole.
