As an important component of the methanol to olefin industrial unit,the water system solves the difficult problems of frequent cleaning caused by clogging of heat exchange equipment,high pressure difference caused by clogging of trays with oil and wax substances in water washing,and difficulty in effectively utilizing concentrated water aldehydes and ketones in the sewage stripping system.This is of great significance for the long-term operation of the unit.Based on the operation of the water system of a 1.8×106 t/a methanol to olefin industrial unit over the years since its commissioning,this paper analyzes the causes of water system problems and solves a series of industry common problems in the water system through three measures:front-end prevention,process control,and end treatment.
