Qualitative research on the psychological feelings of postoperative patients with gastric cancer after interruption of enteral nutrition feeding
Objective:To understand the psychological feelings of postoperative patients with gastric cancer after interruption of enteral nutrition feeding,so as to provide basis and guidance for clinical nurses to carry out better enteral nutrition.Methods:Phenomenological qualitative research method was used to conduct semi-structured in-depth interviews in 11 patients,and Colaizzi's 7-step analysis method was used to analyze and summarize the collected data.Results:Three themes were summarized including interruption of enteral nutrition in patients with gastric cancer after surgery leading to heavy psychological burden and brings comfortable feeling,urgent need for knowledge and strong need for care.Conclusion:The medical staff should pay attention to the psychological feelings of the patients after the interruption of enteral nutrition feeding,In addition,we should improve the education system to provide professional guidance,implement humanized care for the patients and regain the confidence to overcome the disease.
