Study on the correlation between social alienation and stigma in young patients with cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy
Objective:To investigate the current situation of social alienation and stigma in young patients with cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy,and explore the relationship between social alienation and stigma.Methods:Totally 175 cervical cancer patients were investigated by general information questionnaire,general alienation scale and social impact scale from February 2022 to December 2022.Results:The score of social alienation of young patients with cervical cancer treated with radiotherapy was 44.38±8.64,and the score of stigma was 76.36±10.17,which was positively correlated(r=0.672,P<0.01).Conclusion:Young patients with cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy have a higher sense of social alienation.There is a positive correlation between the level of stigma and social alienation.Nurses should fully understand the thoughts of young patients with cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy,do a good job of psychological counseling,help them accept their current situation,adapt to the changes in their roles,alleviate the level of stigma of patients,and help them better integrate into society.
