The status and influencing factors of migration stress of family members of stroke patients transferred out from ICU
Objective:To analyze the factors influencing migration stress level of family members of stroke patients who transferred out from ICU.Methods:A total of 228 family members of stroke patients admitted to the ICU ward from December 2019 to December 2021 were included. The family relocation stress scale was used to conduct a questionnaire survey.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the factors affecting migration stress of family members. Results:The total score of migration stress of family members of stroke patients transferred out of ICU was 54.04±10.35,and the scores of migration preparation, family stress, patient self-care ability and migration satisfaction were 18.18±5.36,12.00±3.12,17.76±3.81 and 6.10±1.47,respectively.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that patients'first stay in ICU,duration of stay in ICU,the age of family members, family members'relationship with patient(couple),and family members'educational level(college degree or above)were significant influencing factors of family migration stress(P<0.05).Conclusion:The migration stress level of family members of stroke patients was at a moderate level when patients were transferred out of ICU.The migration stress level was affected by factors such as whether the patients admitted to the ICU for the first time, the duration of stay in the ICU,and the age and education level of family members.Nursing staff should take targeted intervention measures to reduce the migration stress level according to the characteristics of family members.
