The current status and influencing factors of psychological detachment among primary caregivers of colorectal cancer patients
Objective:To investigate the current status and influencing factors of psychological detachment among the primary caregivers of colorectal cancer patients.Methods:A survey was conducted among 247 primary caregivers of colorectal cancer patients using a general information questionnaire,psychological detachment scale,care burden scale,social support scale,and disease cognition scale.Univariate and multiple linear regression analyses were used to analyze the influencing factors of psychological detachment among primary caregivers.Results:The total score of psychological detachment among the primary caregivers of colorectal cancer patients was 11.00±2.60.Daily care duration,daily sleep duration,assistance from others,care burden,social support,and disease cognition were the main influencing factors of caregivers'psychological detachment.Conclusion:The psychological detachment of the primary caregivers of colorectal cancer patients needs to be improved.Medical staff should pay attention to the physical and mental health of the caregivers,develop targeted intervention measures,improve caregivers'psychological detachment level,and thereby improve their quality of life.
