Analysis on status and influencing factors of self-care of patients with severe limb trauma
Objective:To assess the level of self-care among patients with severe limb trauma and analyze the influencing factors,providing reference for the development of psychological or physical rehabilitation measures during the recovery period.Methods:A survey was conducted using scales for self-compassion,anxiety/depression,self-esteem,self-efficacy,and social support among 245 patients with severe limb trauma at a Class A tertiary hospital in Qinzhou City.Results:The self-care score for patients with severe limb trauma was 65.29±11.13.Regression analysis indicated that social support,anxiety,depression,self-efficacy,and self-care ability are the main factors influencing self-care levels in these patients,accounting for 29.6%of the total variance.Conclusion:The self-care level of patients with severe limb trauma is at a moderately low level,with numerous influencing factors.It is recommended that specialized healthcare professionals develop targeted intervention plans based on the patients'conditions and psychological states to improve their self-care levels.
