Analysis on the current status and influencing factors of psychological flexibility among stroke patients'caregivers
Objective:To explore the current status of psychological flexibility of stroke patients'caregivers and analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A total of 233 caregivers of stroke patients were recruited in this cross-sectional survey.The general information questionnaire,Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2nd Edition,Kessler Psychological Distress Scale,Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview and 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale were used in this survey.Multiple stepwise regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of psychological flexibility among stroke patients'caregivers.Results:The mean score of psychological flexibility in stroke patients' caregivers was 23.91±6.73.Multiple stepwise regression results showed that resilience,psychological distress,self-care ability of patients in daily life and caregiver burden were influencing factors of psychological flexibility of stroke patients'caregivers(P<0.05),explaining 72.6%of the variance.Conclusion:The psychological flexibility of stroke patients'caregivers were affected by many factors,and targeted interventions should be implemented by healthcare professionals to enhance the psychological flexibility level of stroke patients'caregivers.
