英语专业"高级英语"课程对思辨能力培养的实证研究
An empirical study on the cultivation of critical thinking in Advanced English course for English majors

摘要
思辨能力是英语专业人才培养的能力目标之一,探索专业课程教学中思辨能力的培养方法与路径是培养学生思辨能力的关键.本研究通过英语专业必修课程"高级英语"的教学实践,借助批判性思维测量表CTDI-CV对教学前后的思辨倾向进行测评,发现学生思辨能力均值有显著提高,且女生思辨倾向增值高于男生.另外,"学生自主、同伴互动、项目合作、线上线下混合"课堂教学模式在提高学生思辨能力方面效果显著,对进一步提高英语专业本科学生思辨能力有参考价值.
Abstract
Critical thinking is one of the ability objectives of English majors.Exploring the training methods and paths of critical thinking ability in professional courses is the key to cultivating critical thinking.Through the teaching practice of Advanced English,a compulsory course for English majors,and using the critical thinking measurement scale CTDI-CV to evaluate the critical thinking tendency before and after teaching,it is found that the mean value of critical thinking tendency has been significantly improved.At the same time,the added value of critical thinking tendency of girls is higher than that of boys.The results show that the teaching mode of"student-autonomy,peer-interaction,project-cooperation and online-offline teaching"in Advanced English is effective in improving students'critical thinking ability,and has reference value for further improving the critical thinking ability of English majors.
