Effect of Leaf Spraying Polyglutamic Acid on Appearance Quality and Intrinsic Quality of Hongda Flue-cured Tobacco
The effects of polyglutamic acid application on tobacco leaf quality of flue-cured tobacco variety Honghua Dajinyuan(here-inafter referred to as"Hongda")was studied in order to provide reference for improving the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco.Using field tests, the flue-cured tobacco variety Hongda was used as the test material, and five fertilization gradients were set up in the experiment, that is,spraying water(CK),spraying polyglutamic acid 0.05 g·L-1(T1),0.1 g·L-1(T2),0.2 g·L-1(T3),0.4 g·L-1(T4)to study the effects of spraying different concentrations of polyglutamic acid on the appearance and internal quality of tobacco leaves. The results showed that compared with the control(CK),application of polyglutamic acid increased leaf weight, leaf surface density, tension and equilibrium water content, and decreased stem content, and showed a decreasing trend with the increase of application concentration of polyglutamic acid; The effect of polyglutamic acid on the appearance quality of tobacco leaf was related to the appli-cation concentration, but the rule was not obvious; The chemical composition coordination of tobacco leaves applied with polyglutamic acid was better than CK under low concentration and high concentration conditions; With the increase of polyglutamic acid concentra-tion,the comprehensive index value of sensory quality increased first and then decreased, but it was better than CK treatment. In gen-eral,the effect of spraying polyglutamic acid on the external quality and internal quality of tobacco leaves is affected by the applica-tion concentration, and the overall quality of tobacco leaves treated with 0.2 g·L-1 polyglutamic acid(T3)is better.
