The Willingness of Farmers to Develop Facility Vegetable and Its Influencing Factors in Tianjin City
Based on the survey data of 1074 growers in 10 agriculture-related areas of Tianjin,the influencing factors of farmers'willingness to develop facility vegetable were analyzed by using the binary logt model.The research can provide a reference for gover-ments when they formulate reasonable promotion plans and implement appropriate induction and suppoting policites,because relevant departments accurately understand the development intentions and demands of farmers.The results showed that the gender,age,per capita scale of vegetable planting of labor force,proportion of agricultural income to total annual household income,richness of social network,government support and financing environment had a significant positive impact on the willingness of farmers to develop fa-cility vegetable.However,the cultural education level,the number of years of facility vegetable production,and risk perception had obviously negative effects on the willingness of farmers to develop facility vegetables.The author proposed that the three opions were effective ways to enhance the willingness of farmers to develop facility vegetable:further strengthening the publicity and guidance and skills training of vegetable planting in facilities,improving the policy support system and enhancing risk compensation mechanism for facility vegetable planting,and cultivating and building leading enterprises in facility agriculture and continuously improving the level of agricultural facilities and equipment.
