Selection Experiment of Localized Wet Seedling Substrate Formula for Flue-cured Tobacco Cultivation
In order to study the localized seedling substrate of Yibin's indigenous flue-cured tobacco that can replace peat,Yunyan 99 was used as the test material, and the 100%peat substrate was used as the control. The naturally fermented and decomposed bam-boo sawdust granules had mixed with perlite and vermiculite in different proportions to conduct experiments on moistening tobacco seedling substrates.By analyzing the physicochemical characteristics of different substrate formulas and the growth of tobacco seedlings under different substrate conditions, the optimal substrate formula suitable for moistening tobacco seedling was selected. The research results showed that compared with CK(100%peat substrate),the physicochemical indicators of the five formulas using bamboo saw-dust granule substrate showed significant differences, and there were significant differences in the growth indicators of tobacco seedlings, such as growth period, stem height, stem perimeter, fresh weight of root, fresh weight of stem, fresh weight of leaves, dry weight of leaves, and root surface area.Among them, the T1 treatment and T2 treatment were overall better than CK in terms of sub-strate physicochemical characteristics and tobacco seedling growth, showing good physicochemical characteristics and good tobacco seedling growth. The tobacco seedlings in the T2 treatment performed the best.Comprehensively, bamboo sawdust granules can re-place peat as an excellent substrate for flue-cured tobacco seedling cultivation, ensuring the seedling effect of tobacco seedlings. It is recommended to use the T2 treatment as the substrate formula for flue-cured tobacco seedling cultivation, which is 90%bamboo saw-dust granules+5%perlite+5%vermiculite.
