Photosynthetic Light Response Characteristics of 8 Garden Plants and Their Landscape Application in Zhangzhou Area in Autumn
The purpose of this study is to study the photosynthesis and light adaptation of different species of plants.In this paper,tak-ing 8 common garden greening plants in Bihu Ecological Park,Longwen district,Zhangzhou city as the research materials,the portable photosynthesometer Li-6400 was used to measure the photoresponse of plants under different light intensity gradients,and hyperbolic modified model fitting was used to analyze their shade tolerance.The results showed that the Ceiba speciosa with high light compensa-tion point and light saturation point had a strong ability to adapt to bright light.With relatively high light compensation point and light saturation point,Bauhinia blakeana,Bougainvillea spp.and Hibiscus rosa-sinensis had relatively strong adaptability to strong light and poor shade tolerance.The plant of Livistona chinensis with low light compensation point and low light saturation point had strong shade tolerance,but weak ability to use strong light.The light compensation point of Excoecaria cochinchinensis was relatively high,the light saturation point was relatively low,and it was not resistant to strong light and had certain shade tolerance.The light saturation point of Cinnamomum camphora and Koelreuteria bipinnata was high and the light compensation point was relatively low.They not on-ly had a certain tolerance to strong light,but also could make full use of weak light.The correlation analysis of the net photosynthetic rate,light intensity,stomatal conductance,transpiration rate and other influencing factors of 8 plants showed that the influencing fac-tors were different among different plants,and the net photosynthetic rate was significantly positively correlated with transpiration rate and negatively correlated with stomatal conductance.Furthermore,Livistona chinensis,Cinnamomum camphora,Excoecaria cochinchi-nensis and Koelreuteria bipinnata could make good use of soil water and were good water-saving plants.To sum up,Bauhinia blakeana,Bougainvillea spp.,Hibiscus rosa-sinensis and Ceiba speciosa can be configured in the forest margin and road isolation zone with sufficient light.The plant of Livistona chinensis is suitable for planting in the shade under the forest or in the place without direct sunlight.The plant of Excoecaria cochinchinensis is suitable for shade at a given time or in areas sheltered by walls,other buildings or plants.The plant of Cinnamomum camphora and Koelreuteria bipinnata have a wide range of light adaptation,and can be flexibly configured according to the needs of landscape expression.In addition,the plant of Livistona chinensis,Cinnamomum cam-phora,Excoecaria cochinchinensis,and Koelreuteria bipinnata can be deployed in relatively arid places.
