Research on Ecological Restoration Protected Areas Based on Ecological Network-Vulnerability:Taking Wannian County as an Example
In order to reinforce the construction of an ecological civilisation in all its aspects, guided by systemic thinking,it is neces-sary to scientifically assess the areas of ecological damage and imbalance, and to achieve the integration of protection and restoration. The study area was Wannian County,Shangrao City,Jiangxi Province. In this study, the MSPA and MCR models were used to con-struct an ecological network, overlaid with the ecological vulnerability assessment,to accurately identify areas in need of ecological restoration, and to propose restoration and protection measures based on the characteristics of each area. The results showed that:(1)a total of 7 ecological sources with a total area of 353.61 km2 and 21 ecological corridors with a total length of 292.1 km had been iden-tified,creating an ecological network pattern of"one ring, one nucleus, multiple corridors and multiple patches".(2)The results of e-cological vulnerability assessment in the study area were dominated by non-vulnerable and low vulnerability, but the ecological vul-nerability was more significant in the central city and its surrounding zones,as well as in the low mountainous areas in the south, with a concentration of high vulnerability zones in the southeastern fringes.(3)The study identified six ecological restoration and protection areas, classified into three categories based on their current land use.Separate ecological restoration and protection schemes were pro-posed for each area. This study offerd a comprehensive analysis framework for ecological restoration and protection in Wannian Coun-ty.It accurately identified zones with strong connectivity but high vulnerability, thereby providing technical support for the ecological restoration and protection of land space in the study area.
