Analysis on Changes of Soil Nutrient Content in Different Peanut Growing Areas in Xinyang
In order to comprehensively understand the soil nutrients in peanut producing areas of Xinyang City and the changes of soil nutrients during the growing period of peanuts, soil samples were collected and analyzed in many areas of Xinyang City during the growing period of peanuts, and the changes of soil nutrients during the growing period of peanuts were compared and evaluated. The results showed that the average values of soil pH and organic matter, alkali hydrolytic nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium were 5.17,13.52 g·kg-1,108.77 mg·kg-1,5.00 mg·kg-1,193.83 mg·kg-1,respectively.Soil acidification was serious in Xinyang City, the contents of organic matter, alkaline nitrogen and available phosphorus were low,and the content of available potas-sium was rich. From the perspective of regions, the soil of Luoshan and Huangchuan were rich in available potassium while Xinxian was lack of available potassium. From the perspective of growth stage, the contents of organic matter and available phosphorus in the soil were significantly higher than those in the soil before sowing, the contents of alkaline nitrogen and available phosphorus were partly increased, the soil pH value was also increased and the soil acidification was weakened. In summary,it could be seen that the soil fertility of Xinyang City was lower than the medium level, and the soil nutrient content of the peanut in the mature stage increased as a whole, but the soil improvement was not obvious.
