Preliminary Exploration of the Relationship between Plankton Community Structure and Environmental Factors during Spring in the Bahe River:A Case Study of the Bazhong Section
This study established 7 sampling points in the Bazhou region in March 2020 to collect water quality and zooplankton sam-ples,in order to investigate community structure of zooplankton and it's relationship with environmental factors in the Bazhou section of the Bahe river. The water quality analysis results showed that the whole research section was slightly eutrophication.A total of 40 species of zooplankton were collected.Copepoda and Rotifera were found to be dominant groups. The average density of zooplankton was 6 170.1 ind.·L-1,and the average biomass was 38.36 mg·L-1.The results of cluster analysis and NMDS showed that all sites were divided into 3 groups at 40%similarity.Similarity analysis(ANOSIM)showed that there were significant spatial differences in zoo-plankton community structure(R=0.593,P=0.029).The results of redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that TN,NO3-N,TP,Chl-α,N:P were the main environmental factors affecting the community structure of spring zooplankton in Bahe Bazhou section.Shannon-Wiener(H')diversity index ranged from 0.82 to 2.29,Margalef richness index(D)ranged from 0.36 to 1.24,and Pielou evenness in-dex(J')ranged from 0.32 to 0.96.The results of water quality evaluation based on diversity index showed that the water body in the Bazhou section of the Bahe river was medium to heavy pollution. The results showed that there was a certain relationship between the community structure of zooplankton and the strength of human activities in the Bazhou section of the Bahe river, and it could provide basic data and scientific basis for water ecosystem management in the Bazhou section of the Bahe river.
