The Effect of Hydroheat Products from Vegetable Waste on the Growth Characteristics of Chinese Cab-bage and Soil Microorganisms
To investigate the effects of hydrothermal treatment products of vegetable waste on the growth of Chinese cabbage,veg-etable waste had been subjected to high-temperature hydrothermal treatment, and the solid and liquid products obtained had been used as soil amendments for a 35-days experiment with Chinese cabbage seedlings. The results showed that the Chinese cabbage grown in the soil amended with the solid hydrothermal product at 210℃(S210B)had better growth, with an increase of 42.82%in yield,18.18%in plant height,13.21%in stem diameter, and 82.61%in root length compared with the control. The Chinese cabbage grown in the soil amended with the liquid hydrothermal product at 210℃diluted 30 times(Y210(30))had even better growth, with higher nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrient contents than the control by 12.16%,26.42%and 37.46%,respectively.The trends in the changes of the dominant bacterial communities at the phylum level in the rhizosphere soil of the two treatments were similar, with the dominant bacterial community being the Firmicutes and the Proteobacteria. In conclusion, the hydrothermal products of vegetable waste as organic fertilizers had certain application value.
