Effects of Sex and Habitat Factors on Intestinal Flora Diversity of Apodemus agrarius
In order to investigate the composition and diversity of the intestinal flora of Apodemus agrarius, the effects of sex differ-ences and habitat differences on the intestinal flora of Apodemus agrarius were discussed. The 16S rRNA V3-V4 region of the intesti-nal flora of Apodemus agrarius was amplified by PCR using high-throughput sequencing technology and analyzed. The results showed that the first three dominant intestinal flora were roughly the same at phylum, order and genus level between male and female groups of Apodemus agrarius in farmland, but the proportion of each bacterial group was different. The first three dominant intestinal flora were different at phylum, order and genus level between male and female groups of Apodemus agrarius in scrub.Alpha diversity anal-ysis showed that there was no significant difference in intestinal flora between male and female of Apodemus agrarius in farmland. There was significant difference in intestinal flora diversity between male and female of Apodemus agrarius in scrub, but no significant difference in intestinal flora richness. There was no significant difference in intestinal flora of Apodemus agrarius in different habitats.ANOSIM analysis showed that there was no significant difference in intestinal flora between male and female groups of Apodemus a-grarius in farmland. The intestinal flora was significantly different between male and female of Apodemus agrarius in scrub. There was no significant difference in intestinal flora between two groups of Apodemus agrarius. In conclusion, sex and habitat have influence on the composition and diversity of intestinal flora of Apodemus agrarius.
