Genome-wide Identification and Expression Analysis of PYL Gene Family in Chrysanthemum nankin-gense
PYL(Pyrabactin resistance 1-like)protein plays an irreplaceable role, that plays an important role in plant growth,devel-opment and stress. In order to explore the function of PYL gene family in Chrysanthemum nankingense, this study identified PYL gene family members in Chrysanthemum nankingense using a bioinformatic methods, and the expression of CnPYLs in different tissues was analysed using RNA-Seq data. The results showed that the CnPYL gene family consists of 11 members, which could be divided into 3 subfamilies, and protein domains and gene structures were highly conserved of the same subfamily, the subfamily I gene contained two introns and the other two subfamily genes had no introns.Cis-acting elements analysis found that PYL family genes mainly contained elements related to stress, growth, light and hormone. The cis-acting elements in the promoter region of CnPYL family genes mainly included adversity stress-responsive elements, plant growth and development-related elements,light-responsive elements and hor-mone-responsive elements.RNA-Seq data analysis showed that the expression of PYL gene in Chrysanthemum nankingense was tis-sue-specific,exception of the CnPYL2 gene, which was expressed at a relatively low level in roots, indicating that these genes might play an essential role in the ABA-regulated growth and development of various tissues of the Chrysanthemum nankingense. The results of this study lay a theoretical foundation for further elucidating the function of CnPYLs gene in Chrysanthemum nankingense.
