Effects of the Number of Leaves Retained and the Method of Retaining Leaves on the Quality of Tobacco Production of the New Roasted Tobacco Variety Xiangyan No.7
To clarify the appropriate number of leaves and leaf retention methods for the new roasted tobacco variety Xiangyan No.7 in Guizhou Qiannan Tobacco Region,we took Xiangyan No.7 as the experimental material,set up 6 leaf retention treatments,carried out the research on the impact of different leaf retention numbers and leaf retention methods on the quality of Xiangyan No.7's tobacco production,and used the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the quality of the tobacco,to clarify the optimal number of leaves and leaf retention methods.The results showed that the economic performance of leaving 18 leaves and removing 10 bottom leaves and leaving 20 leaves and removing 10 bottom leaves were better,and the yield of A2B3 treatment reached 2 807.81 kg·hm-2,and the output value of A1B3 treatment reached RMB 92 112 yuan·hm-2.In terms of the appearance quality and physical characteris-tics,leaving 20 leaves was slightly better than leaving 18 leaves.The AQI index of central leaf A2B3 and A2B1 treatments were higher at 8.25 and 7.85,and upper leaf A1B2 treatment was higher at 7.85.The PPI index of central leaf A2B1 treatment and the upper leaf A2B2 treatment were higher at 91.40 and 82.64.In terms of chemical characteristics,the CCUI index of A1B3 treatment in the middle leaf and A2B1 treatment in the upper leaf were 81.69 and 82.60,significantly higher than the other treatments.In terms of sensory characteristics,A1B3 treatment performs better,and sensory quality index SQI was 70.35.Comprehensive four evaluation indicators,the CEI index of each treatment was A1B3>A2B1>A1B2>A2B2>A2B3>A1B1.In conclusion,the author believes that the optimal number of leaves and the way of retaining leaves of Xiangyan No.7 in Guizhou's Qiannan tobacco area are as follows Retain 18 leaves and remove 10 bottom leaves.
