Evolution of the spatial and temporal patterns of population ageing and its influencing factors in Guangdong Province from 2000 to 2020
In order to study the evolution law of population aging in economically developed areas, the spatial differentiation and the influencing factors of population ageing in Guangdong counties were studied using spatial autocorrelation, standard deviation ellipse, geodetector and geographically weighted regression taking 118 counties in Guangdong Province as the research area based on the data of the fifth, sixth and seventh population censuses. The results show that:① The population ageing in Guangdong Province is at a low level in the whole country, but there are significant differences within the region, and a semi-ring and circle type distribution has basically formed, and the ageing degree has gradually intensified over the past 21 years.② The distribution of ageing population first concentrated and then dispersed, but always showed a southwest-northeast distribution.③ There is a significant positive correlation between the ageing coefficients of counties in Guangdong Province, and the number of cold and hot spots of population ageing is gradually increasing with the cold spot areas are stable in some counties in the Pearl River Delta, and the hot spot areas are changing by leaps and bounds.④ The population separation from households, natural population growth rate and average life expectancy are the main factors affect the ageing of Guangdong Province, and the population ageing of Guangdong Province is the result of cyclic feedback of multiple factors.
