The Evolution and Prospect of Research Methods and Paradigms in International Chinese Education——Based on the Analysis of Chinese Core Journal Literature(2012-2023)
Based on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database and the CiteSpace visualization tool,this paper reviews the research methods and paradigms presented in the core journals of the international Chinese education in the past decade(2012-2023),and finds that the research methods of international Chinese education have developed from a simplistic research of a single,traditional and monocultural nature to a comprehensive,contemporary and cross-cultural diversified research.The unidirectional research from the national perspective has evolved into a multi-dimensional research that combines speculative and empirical research,multidisciplinary and international perspectives.Based on this,the academic community should be guided by micro problems,comprehensively use multidisciplinary research methods,pay attention to the macro policy background,advocate diversified research paradigms,base on the current research status,select appropriate research methods and research paradigms,and better realize the high-quality development of international Chinese education research in the new era.
